Since I've been home, I've been really working the bejeezus out of my Netflix membership. The result? I am no longer two-timing my man, I'm more like four-timing him. Sorry Sweetboy.
Usually, I only have one movie boyfriend at a time (I have appropriately confessed all of this to Sweetboy beforehand since I know he reads my blog) but times are a changin'...
Russel Crowe was my first (Gladiator style), but I learned about his unfortunate habits of smoking and beating people with phones. He had to go. He introduced me to one of my favorite beers - Shiner Bock. Funny the things that rub off on you from relationships.
Then came Matt Damon in the Bourne movies. Still tasty but found out he was a smoker too (I heard he quit?) - he's on the back burner until the next movie comes up. I'm sure we'll rekindle our romance then.
Christian Bale in Batmans Begins. Need I say more? He's an incredible actor and the movie was great; however, I think it would have been better with more scenes of him working out (queue him jumping out of bed and doing some push ups). Really.
I can't forget to mention Daniel Craig as James Bond. I was so disappointed when I heard they chose him instead of Clive Owen. Then the movie came out...Clive Owen? Who is that? Good grief. Hello Mr. Bond you beautiful man you. The shower scene...be still my heart. He can take care of the bad guys and has a sweet side? Sign me up! oh wait - I've got one of those already (air kiss to Sweetboy)!
As of last week, Gerard Butler became a permanent fixture on my laminated list. He was delicious in 300. Despite the fact that the movie should have been named "Ode to Beefcake" - and that means a favorite in my book - the violence and gore was a bit much for me to handle. HOWEVER, last week Neftlix sent me P.S. I Love You and it was such a sweet, lovely film that reacquainted me with Gerard in a softer light.
Hmmm...I see some commonalities here: Gorgeous beefcake who kick ass, are good men and fiercely love their women - sounds like someone I met about 17 years ago who is sleeping in my bed as we speak...I'm a lucky girl indeed. :)
Who are your movie boyfriends? Heck - let's be equal opportunity - boyfriends/girlfriends? Don't worry - I'm certain your they don't read my blog :) so you're safe! Spill it.

Squeebs - that's right! Eric Bana, very sweet indeed. Not very impressed with him until I saw him in Munich. Do I secretly like men that wield deadly weapons? Hmmm...I'll have to think about that one. Or maybe it was the scene with him and his wife? YOWZA!

Sue, it must be in the genes because we totally have the same taste in guys. Even down to the exact scene in Batman Begins that is so very special...
Speaking of guys with their shirts off - I noticed one blaring omission from your list: ERIC BANA. Hello hotness! Let me put it this way, I HATE long hair on guys. HATE IT WITH A PASSION. Eric Bana has not only long, but long, curly and all done up hair in Troy and I was still drooling - Hooray for Trojan Warriors! Now, Munich was my first experience with the lovely Mr. Bana, and that was a while ago, but again with the longish hair... I'm ashamed to admit it, but I initially rejected him. However, his glistening physique in the Greek epic tale was too much to ignore and I look forward to re-kindling our movie romance in such flicks as Black Hawk Down (which lucky for me is one of JK's favorites so we can watch it over and over - for very different reasons!) and Romulus, My Father (I've never heard of it either, but he has short hair, yippee!).

Right back at ya Shell :) So do you mean dirty hero Viggo/Aragorn or clean cut jerk Viggo/GI Jane? Despite my love of the clean cut, I'm going for dirty, sword wielding Viggo on this one.

Viggo Mortenson is still one of my all time fav's. Much love and hugs to you Sue!

I suppose I can be nice enough to share! :) You're lucky - you could seduce him with your cooking skill. Teach me, haha.

Let's share him! I can't wait to see Dark Knight either. Hmmm...

Christian Bale, hands down. I've been a fan of his for a long time and ugh, he's just gorgeous. Can't wait to see Dark Knight next week and be all drooly. :) Sorry for stealing him from you!
